This is to let everyone know where we stand as far as raiding is concerned. In the last few weeks its become apparent that 20 man raids are not being filled and hence are either being cancelled or pugged. As far as progression raiding is concerned with regards to Hammerknell and Infernal Dawn it is on indefinite hold for now and the foreseeable future. members can read on here

We stuck a dagger in his back and now he's deadaroni. Not the most challenging of bosses anymore after they nerfed his purge mechanic but still a very easy fight to mess up if someone falls asleep.

I couldn't find anything that rhymes with Zilas, not entirely my fault but I did try at least. It's really one of those fights where you need a clear strategy that everyone sticks to as well as being aware of what's going on around them. We spent the better half of one night the first time we met this fiendish fellow, trying to work out the best way to take him down. What we discovered was the first 50% or so was a straight forward dps burn, at which point his other major mechanic begins to take part in the fight. Apparently Zilas has the ability to summon a frickin laser which he promptly spins around himself alot.

You need to divide some of the dps into certain roles to deal with the other major mechanic in the fight. Zilas is a big wuss, so he needs to summon adds constantly from the back of the room. Some of the adds patrol around to the centre where the raid is, others hang back on the sides and just pummel the raid with aoe spells. What usually happens to new raids is that the adds start to overwhelm them since each add has to be dealt with a certain way, aoeing at the wrong time, having too many dps switch targets, letting imps cast their heal, all of these things can quite easily extend the fight to the point where its just not winnable.

We did end up getting him down the next week after only a few attempts, and the week after on our first attempt. Which goes to show how much a solid strategy can make the difference between killing a boss in one or several attempts. As an added bonus we had our first look at Vlad technically not considered an actual boss but either way he drops items and we wants them. He went own with very little effort but I guess that's what he gets for escaping Bioshock and invading Hammerknell.

Soulrender Zilas, the ugly reptile ass could not prevail as we took loots most desirous.
Cynehild lol! Soulrender Zilas is the probably coolest name in Hammerknell though
Cezzy miley cyrus?
Personally I like the spicy chicken, but regular is always just as good. I mean obviously they are both pretty unhealthy but oh so delicious, unless you get a dodgy wing piece... then it's like what the hell why!!! why would you just have a whole piece with nothing but bone and skin. They also make good chips, which a lot of places get wrong, I'm definitely a chip man over fries. I mean fries are just as good and quicker to eat but i guess the salt to chip ratio is much higher as well which is obviously no good.

If you made it this far then yes you've realised we downed the Crispy Chicken aka High Priest Arakhurn after several attempts on a non-scheduled Wednesday night before the weekly reset. After a few keflafles and dodgy pulls, we quickly got into a good rhythym and ended up being just a matter of time. A few people got a little confused or over eager and they themselves entered the deep frier a couple times but overall the lesson was learnt and we eventually got there, congrats to those who got the flaming swords of fiery flame.

Earlier this week Matron Zamira was told to look elsewhere for work because there's a new doctor in the ER and he's much better looking. Not much else to say to be honest, it's been toned down quite a bit so we actually downed her in a single attempt. There was meant to be a pic but apparently it was just too graphic to share with everyone.
